Everyone has, more or less, written off The Kings XI chances of making it to the semi-finals (except Priety Zinta and the few hardcore statisticians who begin their sentences with “Technically…” and believe in the power of probability). But that shouldn't stop the Kings from playing to salvage lost pride...
Today they take on the Deccan Chargers. The Chargers recovered from 2 crippling losses to win their last 3 matches. They are a resurgent side who will be playing to secure a semi-final berth. The Kings XI, on the other hand, seem to be deriving great pleasure in playing party-poopers and teasing their fans by keeping open a slim window of opportunity to make it to the next level. Can the Kings XI Punjab memorize a few quick lessons from their last chapter?
