iSport Poem: Indian Hockey Team

Its only matter of a few weeks,
When India will again be made proud,
By the ‘’Men in Blue with hockey sticks’’!
With great technique and mind blowing tricks,
They are the undisputed champs of the Olympics!
This sport is prestigious, this sport is old,
They are the ones who got us the ‘’1st gold’’!
For this great sport let us take a ‘’bow’’,
Creating history with 6 gold medals in a ‘’row’’,
For all these years they have put up an incredible ‘’show’’!
Its great that cricket has got name & fame,
We love & support hockey too, it’s our national game.
For this sport the crisis were heavy & the road seemed to be long,
Everything seemed to be going totally wrong.
But a salute to the ‘’boys’’,
Who always stood absolutely ‘’strong’’.
For sure the opposition teams will be taken for a ride,
Team hockey will bring back the ‘’cup’’, India pride.
Supporting you the whole nation is on your ‘’side’’!
Go India fight like the great ‘’Rocky’’
Show the whole world,
that we are the ‘’Kings of Hockey’’!
The players say to this sport,
‘’tere bin mai kyaa khela, kyaa jiyaa’’.
It’s this attitude that makes the whole nation chant,
‘’Chak de India’’!!
The only thing that I can tell the whole nation,
On this absolute beautiful occasion,
‘’phir’’ nahi ‘’always’’ dil do hockey kooooo

‘’Best of Luck ‘’ ‘’Go Go India Goooooooooo”!!
